Neon
Connect your Neon Postgres database to Opseer for stats collection, data browsing, and infrastructure monitoring in one place.
Last updated: 2026-05-09
Neon is a serverless Postgres platform. Opseer supports connecting Neon databases for stats collection, data browsing, and daily reports -- the same feature set as Supabase DB connections.
Two connection types
- Connection string — DB access (stats / data tables / records CRUD)
- Neon Management API key — read-only infrastructure monitoring (Branches / Compute / Databases / Auth / Security / Snapshots)
Management pages (6, all read-only)
- Auth — Stack Auth status + user list
- Branches — list with default/protected indicators
- Compute — endpoint monitoring (state / autoscaling / suspend timeout)
- Databases — DB & Role list + IP Allow List + Logical Replication
- Security — Advisor (RLS / permission checks)
- Snapshots — list + auto schedule
All Mgmt pages are view-only. Each page has a "Neon Console →" link in the top right for direct edits. Mutations happen in Neon Console.
Out of scope
- Operations page — Mgmt API rate limit risk + only useful during incidents → use Neon Console
- Consumption / Usage page — Consumption API requires Scale ($69/mo) or higher
- Settings page — IP Allow / Logical Replication absorbed into Databases page
