Last updated: 2026-05-10
Opseer uses Polar as its payment processor (Merchant of Record). All billing, invoicing, and payment processing is handled securely through Polar.
Starting a subscription
Go to Settings
Click Settings in the sidebar, then navigate to the Plan section.
Choose a plan
Select Starter ($9/month), Plus ($24/month), or Max ($49/month). Starter includes a 7-day free trial.
Complete checkout
You will be redirected to Polar's secure checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm.
Activation
Once payment is confirmed, your plan is activated immediately. New features and higher limits are available right away.
Polar accepts major credit cards and other payment methods depending on your region. All prices are in USD.
Billing cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your billing date is the day you first subscribe. For example, if you subscribe on April 15, you will be charged on the 15th of each month.
Upgrading
You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time (Free → Starter, Free → Plus, Starter → Plus, Plus → Max, etc.). The upgrade takes effect immediately:
- Higher limits (stat columns, data tables, members) are applied instantly
- Additional features (larger backfill, more target push tokens) become available
- Your billing is adjusted pro-rata for the remainder of the current cycle
Downgrading
You can downgrade to a lower plan (Max → Plus, Plus → Starter, any paid plan → Free, etc.):
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You keep full access to your current plan until the period ends
- After the period ends, limits are adjusted to the new plan
- Existing data is preserved but becomes read-only if it exceeds the new plan's limits
Cancellation
Go to Settings > Plan
Navigate to the Plan section in Settings.
Click "Cancel Subscription"
Confirm the cancellation.
Retain access until period end
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again.
After period ends
Your account reverts to the Free plan. Projects beyond the Free limit become read-only.
Cancellation does not delete any data. All your projects, stats, and configurations are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time to regain full access.
Reactivation
If you cancelled but are still within your billing period, you can reactivate your subscription:
- Go to Settings > Plan
- Click "Reactivate" next to your cancelled subscription
- Your subscription continues as if it was never cancelled
- No additional charge until the next billing date
Customer portal
For advanced billing management, you can access the Polar customer portal:
- View payment history and download invoices
- Update payment method
- View upcoming charges
Access the customer portal from Settings > Plan > "Manage Billing".
Payment issues
Failed payment
If a recurring payment fails, Polar will retry the charge. You will receive an email notification. If the payment continues to fail after retries, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the grace period.
Refunds
For refund requests, contact us at [email protected]. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through Polar.
